government planned to regenerate the docklands of its major
cities, through public-private sector collaboration. How

Cardiff, where a development corporation is turning derelict
dockland into an area for business, leisure and luxury homes. But

community been involved? How is the development affecting the
environment?

England has been a holiday resort for over 200 years. But things
are changing and it has to adapt to survive. This video examines
four different kinds of business in the town: the theatre, a
museum, a hotel and a restaurant. We see how each has evolved and
how they market themselves to their customers.

"enterprise" culture on the economy of Chesterfield, a
town in the UK.
6. DESIGNING FOR THE MARKET

How does a company take the
critical decision whether or not to manufacture a new product?
How are social issues taken into account when launching a product
on the free market?This video follows the process by which the
firm Sunrise Medical explores the viability of manufacturing a
wheelchair for children with cerebral palsy which has a radical
new design.

but what's the point when everyone's always changing their minds?
This light-hearted drama explains the project management planning

This is the blow-by-blow
account of the last days of Mirex, a company which goes into
receivership. It illustrates the dramatic impact financial
problems can have on staff at all levels of a firm.
