How does a company take the critical decision whether or not to manufacture a new product? How are social issues taken into account when launching a product on the free market?This video follows the process by which the firm Sunrise Medical explores the viability of manufacturing a wheelchair for children with cerebral palsy which has a radical new design.
7. PUBLIC ENTERPRISE (26 minutes) (1992)

This light-hearted drama explains the project management planning necessary to cope with the problems of the real world.

This is the blow-by-blow account of the last days of Mirex, a company which goes into receivership. It illustrates the dramatic impact financial problems can have on staff at all levels of a firm.
