Beauty Spa Courses in Singapore

The employers are open concept Spa & Beauty Salons in Singapore providing
Shiatsu/Thai/Oil massage & Foot Reflexology & beauty treatments. The Spa & 
Salons are usually open daily from 1030 - 2300. Facilities may include: steam, 
sauna, hot/cold Jacuzzi pools, hot baths, tv rooms, coffee corner, security lockers, 
beauty treatments, body massages & foot reflexology.

The beauticians masseuse or therapists preferably females are expected to be
on a 10 - 13.5 hours a day work day with 2 - 4 rest days a month depending on employer.
On an average day an employee could take care of at least 5 clients. Employment for 
foreigners would be offered at S$1800 a  month for S Pass or S$2500 for EP 
(actual amount subject to negotiation between employee and employer). Some employers
may also give commissions for sales of in house products or services. The more diligent 
employee may be able to increase their average monthly extra income by between S$200 
to S$800.

Being a physically demanding job in this hospitality service industry the employee must be 
physically fit and have good pleasant work attitude. Applicants should have proof 
of more than 3 years experience working as beauticians, masseuse or therapists. 
Those with Vocational Diplomas  from recognised vocational bodies or diplomas or degrees in cosmetology, massage or body therapy from University Colleges would have an added advantage. The applicants must be able to produce letters from former employers showing previous relevant similar working experience 

The Beauty Salons or Spas would normally provide orientation to adapt new employees
to their style of beauty treatment and body massage therapy culture so that uniformity 
of practice and style would be achieved. The foreign employee may be required to sign a 
bond with the employer. Return air ticket to and from work place to be borne by employee.

Interested applicants may apply for the above positions by submitting CVs online together with attachment of supporting scanned copies of documents e.g. copy of passport, highest educational qualification with transcripts of exam results, work experience letters from current/former employers, plus passport size colour photo. (Documents not in English must be translated into English & notarised) The revolving recruitment would be in batches of 1- 3 employees in each new intake. English speaking Beauticians, masseuses or good SPA therapists e.g. from Thailand, Philippines or Java / Bali Indonesia would be most welcome. 

Once an applicant is selected by a prospective employer it would be the applicant's responsibility to present herself in person in Singapore at her own expense to undergo job test & interview by the employer. Upon acceptance of employment by the employer an Online Application to the Ministry of Manpower for approval will be made a process of which take 1 - 7 days. The applicant may expect to pay a package service fee the amount of which will be discussed & mutually agreed upon depending on the type & range of pre employment, on the job and post employment services rendered.
