CTHCM DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT COURSE IN SINGAPORE & UK

The CTHCH DHM course provides students with a broad understanding of operational areas of the international hotel industry. Prepares students to work in hotels as Department Assistants or Department Team Leaders. No specific entry requirements but desirable for students to have completed formal secondary education. 

Subjects covered in the Diploma in Hotel Management: DHM102 Food & Beverage Operations. DHM112 Food Hygiene, Health & Safety.  DHM122 Front Office Operations. DHM132 Facilities & Accommodation Operations. DHM142 Hospitality Finance. DHM152 Introduction to Business Operations. DHM162 Marketing. DHM 172 The Tourism Industry. DHM182 Business Computing. DHM192 The Global Hospitality Industry. The School in Singapore is near to Bugis MRT Station. The CTHCM Exam fee for each module is UKP18. 

CTHCM = Confederation of Tourism Hotel & Catering Management of UK . CTHCM Exam Dates:   2- 6/June/2008, 22 - 26 Sep 2008, 26/Jan/2009, 1 - 5 /Jun 2009, 21-25 /Sep 2009

CTHCM Diploma Exam e.g. Each exam has a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes unless otherwise stated.
Candidates should be seated at 0915 for the Morning exam and 1315 for the afternoon exam. There are 2 sections in each subject paper: Section A with about 20 questions all to be answered. Section B to answer 3 of the about 5 questions.

Full time or Part time students sitting for the External CTHCM Diploma in Hotel Management Examination is required to pay for CTHCM Student Membership fee of UKP20 and CTHCM examination fees of UKP 18 per module. Class times are as follows: Full time classes 10am - 1pm Mondays through Fridays. Sundays part time classes 10am - 3 pm.

We expect due diligence to ensure genuine documentation by the Full Time Students applying for Student Pass. Supporting papers in native languages must be translated into English and attested by Commissioner of Oath or Notary Public. 

(a) Birth cert + Passport copy of applicant & 3 passport photos
(b) Marriage certificate of parents, proof of financial ability in form of Fixed Deposit, parents/siblings employment letters, letter of support from Parent/Siblings or other relatives for the application
(c) Applicant’s educational certificates from primary up to the highest level attained + transcripts of subjects and details of marks/results sheets
(d) Gaps of periods of inactivity/unemployment should be explained in a Affidavit 
(e) Experience Certificate or Work Testimonials from former employers if previously employed
(f) After STP is approved Student must report in person to the School & bring along all original documents for physical verification by ICA before actual Student Pass is issued.
(g) In Singapore's context By Full Time we mean a minimum or 3 hours a day 5 days a week (at least 90% attendance)
(h) PRC students required to submit the Student Pass Application via Singapore High Commission in Beijing
