1. PREPARATORY COURSE FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS ENTERING SINGAPORE SCHOOLS

About The Course

Young students of ages 6 to 18 are taught English Language and Mathematics according to the Singapore school syllabuses. This is to prepare the foreign students for the entry tests in Singapore Primary or Secondary schools.

Primary 1 – 3 : Half-day only 3 ½ hours (Monday to Friday) 17.5 hours/week Tuition fee for 6 months = S$1800
Primary 4 – Secondary 3 : Full-day: 5 hours (Monday to Friday) 25 hours/week Tuition fee for 6 months = S$3300

Part-time courses for students who may need coaching support programmes after entering the local schools.

Admission requirements

Applicants must be of ages 6 to 18 and must have studied in a school in their own home country, as their result slips of last recorded examinations must be produced at the time of application.

*Only Thai and Vietnamese students need not sit for the second language subjects in the Singapore schools.

2. PREPARATION COURSE FOR GCE ‘O” LEVELS

About The Course

This is a preparatory Course for the GCE ‘O’ level examinations.

Applicants may choose 3 to 8 subjects among the following:

English Language
Chinese Language
Mathematics (E)
Mathematics (A)
Physics
Commerce
Principles of Accounts
Combined Humanities (Social Studies & History (elective)
Foreign Students may apply to attend Half-day sessions (3 1/2 h) for 4 subjects

Full-day sessions (4.5 hours/day) for 6 subjects or more. Tuition fee 12 - 24 months = S$6600 a year

With Credits in at least 3 -5 subjects, the candidate may apply to study in a Polytechnic. With better results, candidates could apply to go to a local Junior College or a private institution to study subjects at ‘A’ level.

Admission requirements

-Local students may take up the Course if they intend to re-sit the examinations as private candidates. They are welcome to attend part-time or full-time day or evening classes.

-Foreign students should be between 16 and 25 and may take up the Course on a full-time basis. They should have at least Secondary 3 equivalent in their home country.

Please note that the GCE examinations are in June and December each year.

3. FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH PREPARATORY COURSE (FCE)

About The Course

This Course should equip individuals with the language proficiency of Cambridge Level 3 (intermediate) with at least a C grade; and to prepare students for the examination requirements of FCE.

Admission requirements

-Foreign students from ages 16 and above who wish to sit for the Cambridge FCE examinations
-Students who wish to enter higher educational institutes like some universities in the UK and other countries, to acquire the language for commerce or industry.

Classes 3.5 hours/day 17.50 hours/week Tuition fee for 6 months = S$2400

4. IELTS (ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEMS)
PREPARATORY COURSE

About The Course

A Cambridge-ESOL Course assessed and run by UCLES, the British Council and IELTS Australia: IDP Education Australia, to equip students with the language proficiency at UPPER Intermediate level with at least grade 5.5; and to prepare students for the examination requirements.
Admission requirements

-Foreign and local students from ages 16 and above who have completed secondary education and who wish to sit for the IELTS examinations
-Students who wish to enter undergraduate and postgraduate courses -Students who wish to acquire the language for commerce or industry.

Classes 3.5 hours/day 17.5 hours/week Tuition fee for 6 months = S$2400

5. For short courses of 3 to 12 months we can offer: ENGLISH FOR ADULTS - ELFA (Composite)
Level: Basic, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate & Intermediate
Duration: 3 months per level. Course hours per week: 5 weekdays x 3 hours each = 15 hours a week
Registration / admin fees: S$300, medical S$45 , Student pass card + visa card S$60
tuition fee total: 12 months = S$4800

Security bond: S$1000 - Students from Thailand Indonesia & Philippines (SB fee S$500 non refundable)
S$5000 - Students from PRC India Bangladesh Myanmar (SB fee S$2000 refundable+ S$500 non refundable fee)
S$1500 - Students from other countries (SB fee S$500 non refundable)
