12 months Full Time
CTHCM Diploma in
Hotel Management , 6 months theory, followed by 6 months paid industry
attachment with about S$550 monthly allowance. Upon graduation the Students can
seek employment in the booming Hospitality industry e.g. S Pass in Singapore.
The Student Visa granted for diploma course is 6 months renewable Visa.
The tuition fees for full time Diploma are as follows:
12 months upfront = S$4,000 wef 8/1/08 (30% surcharge if paid in 2 installments;
60% surcharge is paid in more than 2 installments)
The Security bond sponsorship service fee payable by all students to the School
would be a one time S$500 and is non refundable.
6-12 months Part Time Diploma in Hospitality Management program on Sundays for 5 hours 10am to 3pm at an affordable fee of S$120 a month payable monthly. No Security bond is payable for the part time Diploma. This part time course would be ideal for Work Permit Holders & other legal residents in Singapore who do not need a Student Pass. Evening class 1900-2300 Tues & Sat at S$280 a month
For all Full time courses of Study there is a non refundable
S$300 Registration / Admin fee. The Student Pass Application take about 4 weeks
for approval by the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore. Should
the application be rejected we can appeal for reconsideration. The STP
application can be made while the Student is still in home country or while
he/she is already in Singapore. Usually a 14 - 30 days Visa is given to a Social
Visitor but the School can assist in the Visa extension if the Student has
enrolled with the School and the application already submitted to ICA for
approval consideration.
Upon approval of the Student Pass the upfront tuition fees
MUST be paid together with the required fees for Security Bond Other fees would
be S$400 for course materials, stationery and ID card wef 08/01/2008, 1 time medical exam fee
S$50,
Student card/Visa card fee S$80.
We expect due diligence to ensure genuine documentation by
the Student. Supporting papers in native languages must be translated into
English and attested by Commissioner of Oath or Notary Public. The Student Pass
Application must be signed personally by the Applicant at part B on page 2 of
Form IMM 16 & at Part G on page 2 of Form NEW V36. You may download these 2

(a) Birth cert + Passport copy of applicant &
4 passport
photos
(b) Marriage certificate of parents, proof of financial ability in form of Fixed
Deposit, parents/siblings employment letters, letter of support from
Parent/Siblings or other relatives for the application
(c) Applicant’s educational certificates from primary up to the highest level
attained + transcripts of subjects and details of marks/results sheets
(d) Gaps of periods of inactivity/unemployment should be explained in a
Affidavit
(e) Experience Certificate or Work
Testimonials from former employers if previously employed
(f) After STP is approved Student must report in person to
the School & bring along all original documents for physical verification by
ICA before actual Student Pass is issued.
(g) By Full Time we mean a minimum or 3 hours a day 5 days a week (at least 90%
attendance)
Job Prospects: Currently there are 170,000 - 180,000 Tourism/Hospitality related Jobs in Singapore plus another 50,000 - 60,000 additional jobs by 2010 so that are ample job opportunities for HRM graduates
