P-2 **BIOLOGY PHOTOMICROGRAPHS on LASERDISC $ 105
  The 12 inch laserdisc contains the same 4,748 photomicrographs found on the CD-ROM (P-1) and divided into the same five chapters. When  viewed on the large screen TV, these images are an  excellent learning tool  for the entire classroom with or without matching microscope slides.  Common names are used with the laser barcode index at the beginning of each chapter. Barcodes will guide you to the most commonly studied microscope slides. The 88 page Guide Book will assist you in locating individual  frames of interest with descriptions provided for each frame.

A second book (100 page textbook) is included with each laserdisc giving detailed descriptions of the most widely used microscope slide  photomicrographs.

P-3 **BIOLOGY PHOTOMICROGRAPHS on Photo CDs $ 50
  View the most widely studied 686 microscope slide photomicrographs as chosen from the 4,748 CD-ROM images and digitized onto Photo CD-ROMs  (high quality images without a data base). Students may easily scroll through the thumbnails, which appear twenty at a time. Resolution of the thumbnail images is 128x192 pixels. A mid-sized window image is 256x384  pixels and the full screen image is 512x768 pixels. Each image may be printed or transferred. Duplication of these images, for use within your school system, is encouraged. Kodak software is included for users who do not have Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop or Picture Publisher. A 100 page textbook describes each image in detail.

P-4 LEARNING MORE ABOUT CELLS
(Hybrid Win/Mac Educational CD-ROM)
$ 138
  This interactive multimedia presentation with live video features a complete review of living cells, with spectacular video photomicrography of cells dividing, amoebae movement and protozoa feeding. Plant and animal cell structure are thoroughly explained. Time-lapse photomicrography captures the duplication of chromosomes and all stages of mitosis. A unique time-lapse sequence follows the development of a single-celled egg into a tadpole.

Incorporating the most recent biological thought and theory, this dynamic program, with outstanding cinematography, traces the early evolution of life. Starting from a barren planet, the program shows the different stages of cellular evolution, from primitive bacteria to blue-green algae to complex multicellular organisms.

P-5 INSIDE THE CELL
(Hybrid CD-ROM)
$130
  "Inside the Cell" is the updated version of "Cell Structure and Function" and illustrates cellular organization, the structure of organelles and the physiological processes they are responsible for. Cut-aways of the more complex organelles are featured with detailed models of plant and animal cells, animated special effects and electron micrographs. Imagine flying through the plasma membrane bi-layer and taking a fully animated tour. Bring mitochondria to life by peeling back the outer membrane and visualizing the cristae.

3D environments and advancements are also used in the topics of cellular organization, biochemistry, plasma membrane, cytoskeleton, cytosol, nucleus, CNA, nuclear membrane and pores, ribosomes, Golgi complex, mitochondria, vesicular transport and many other topics.

P-6 PROTOZOA SYSTEMS
